This farm is often visited by nursery and schoolchildren on organized trips but if you get up to 17 people then you can also organize a private tour of the farm where children get to touch and feed the animals, and generally get to know about life on the farm.

"Although it aint easy getting a large number of people together (over 17 was required to do the trip). It was worth the time organising and think that more outings should be done. Aside from the boasting some of Spain´s most beautiful beaches on the Costa Brava and the popular ski slopes of the Pyrenees, Girona Province is home to some of the country´s most breathtaking scenery. Among the highlights are the the volcanic hills of the Garrotxa Natural Park and stunning valleys of Núria and Comprodon. You´ll also come across some enchanting medeival villages, pretty stone cottages and incredible Masías (country houses).
As the Pyrenees mountains are located only two hours drive from Barcelona (even closer from Girona), skiing is a very popular wintersport for many Catalans and their children seem to learn to ski almost as soon as they have started walking. There are a number of ski regions in Catalonia all within easy reach of Girona and all offering a variety of snow based activities for adults and children alike.
Maresme is a comarca located along the Catalan Mediterranean coast, between the comarques of Barcelonès and Selva, and also bordering with Vallès Oriental. Its capital and largest city is Mataró. Park Serralada located in this area is great for walking and hiking.
