Parks & Beaches

You are spoilt for choice in Sitges. The children will delight in the wonderful beaches and shaded parks.

  • Terramar Park

Terramar Park is located just behind Terramar hotel at the end of the promenade. One of the only shaded play areas/parks in Sitges, picnic benches situated very close to the play area. Lovely place to hold a children's party when the weather is dry. As well as the standard play equipment (with added bonus of a small zip wire), this park also has another area with musical/sound play items/. There is also a pond and it is a nice shaded park to amble around with little ones. Added bonus is that it has a toilet.

  • Sausalito Beach

A very child friendly beach and less crowded than the other beaches. There is a great beach bar serving snacks, drinks and ice cream as well as waitor service to the sunloungers as well as toilets in high season. The sea remains shallow for quite a distance making this a good beach for small children. Pedalos can be rented from the beach next door. To get there - walk along Sitges promenade away from the church and towards the Terramar hotel. This beach is under the small stone tower on the promenade. Slightly older children will enjoy exploring the rocks as well.

    Comments:
"This beach is much quieter than the other beaches in Sitges but this comes at a price. It is about 20 minutes walk from the centre of Sitges so don't get caught stranded with a little one." (RL)

  • Terramar Beach

This sandy beach is about 400 metres in length, features an attractive promenade and is situated towards the western end of town. Terramar is popular, but less crowded than some of Sitges’ bigger beaches. There are a couple of bars and restaurants on the seafront behind the beach for food and refreshment. Due to it being very sheltered there are rarely big waves for the small ones to contend with. Easy to park near for free.

  • Garraf National Park

Although the lack of varieties of trees can grow a little boring (pinepinepinepine), this is a good quiet escape and change from the seaside. The easiest parking place is a mile or so up the road from Lidl/Aldi/Caprabo retail park; it's a bit of a gravel road, but the gentle walks at the top are a reward.
