Costa Blanca & Valencia

Valencia has around a million inhabitants, predominantly from the city itself of from the close-lying villages and towns. There is also a large number of Spaniards from other parts of Spain.
Valencia also has a fair amount foreigners, attracted by (in the good times) a booming economy and available employment. The largest groups are from Latin America, Africa and China.
European and North American ex-pats are present too, although not in huge numbers. Valencia is not like places along Costa Blanca or Costa del Sol where ex-pats are numerous.

**We are currently developing this new section on Valencia, so we would love to hear from you if you have recommendations for Pregnancy & Birth, Activities for toddlers & kids (including beaches & parks), family-friendly restaurants, nurseries & schools, services, and shopping for Mums & kids in the region**
