Museo del Ferrocarril (Railway Museum)

Kids will love this museum. Located just south of Atocha in the barrio of Delicias, this trainspotters delight was built in 1880 by Gustave Eiffel. Not only do you get to climb aboard many of Spain’s older trains, they have a fantastic collection of miniature trains to see, and on Saturday mornings they run a number of mini-trains for the kids to ride on.
Sat. 11.30am-14.00 pm. Child: 1.00 €. Adult: 1,50 €.
Open Tues-Sun 10am-3 pm. Theatre shows Tues-Fri 10:30-11:45am  Closed August. Free on Saturdays
