Busquetess nursery is not international as such, in that the teachers speak Spanish and Catalan with a little English, but there is a good mix of local and international children, and there is never any problem with communication for the ex-pat mums.3 months to 3 years.
Busquetes Centre Infantil, C/ Antoni Morey 6, 07350 Binissalem
"Busquetes nursery provides a friendly, relaxed and caring environment for children aged from 3 months to 3 years old. The nursery is run on the principles of independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child’s natural development. The timetable is well structured to help children with daily routines (morning assembly, meal times, afternoon naps, etc), at the same time as emphasising learning and development through play and creative activities. The school also takes the children on trips, such as to the local park or childrens theatre.
There are four classrooms and a large patio for playtime with a vegetable patch that the children help to look after. Food is fresh every day and meals are home-cooked and well-balanced. There is a lot of variety and the children eat very well (fish, chicken, vegetables, fruit, etc). The school is also happy to meet any specific dietary requirements.
Opening hours are from 7am to 6pm and are flexible, depending on how long you wish to put your child in for every day.
The nursery is situated in Binissalem in the heart of Mallorca but is only a 20-minute drive from Palma" (AG, Nov 2012)
