"They teach half of the day in Spanish (with qualified native Spanish teachers) and half of the day in English (with qualified English teachers). Dieos vocabulary has massively improved since starting 5 months ago. Hes now learning to read & write in both languages. They are a true international school, meaning they have kids from various nationalities. Spanish, Dutch, Italian, American & English. We believe this will result in Dieo being more confident, independent and open minded towards life. The school is very well equipped and runs efficiently. All of the teachers and staff are 100% professional, patient and genuine lovely people. The learning is fun, fresh and intuitive. Every day Dieo brings work home that he has done. This is great for us to see exactly what he is doing and how he is developing. (His bedroom walls are like an exhibition) Another positive aspect is they are rarely closed for public holidays. We are very impressed with Rainbow and thrilled with Dieos development since starting. Any parents in the area should give them a visit. (Popie Rennie, April 09)

"We pay monthly fees to them as they offer an amazing environment for under 6s. Per class they have one English and Spanish teacher. The lessons and activities are done in both languages. The school is run by a lovely Dutch family. The nursery offers great play areas inside and out, and they always involve alot of nature and animals in there learning. They have rabbits, an avory for birds, flowers, fruit trees. It is a very pretty and stimulating environment for children to be creative in." (Claire, April 10))

"We are extremely happy and it was chosen because of the attention to each child´s individual needs. There is a small ratio of children to teachers at the Firs in the nursery and reception/year 1 so the children get a lot more one to one time which is great if your child has learning difficulties or special needs" (Sara Jones, June 2009)

"Somos is a Nursery and Childrens Club offering summer camps and afternoon classes to school age children as well as a childcare/education service (Kangaroo) for 3 months to school age. My daughter has been attending the Kangaroo service for 3 months and she absolutely loves it. The children do a range of activities including cooking, planting seeds, music, physical play etc. It is owned by a fabulous german lady and the staff are all very well qualified, a mix of Spanish and English speakers. Activities are carried out in English and Spanish. The children are from all nationalities but local Spanish people are well represented as well. Somos has been such a positive experience for our family it has really improved our enjoyment of living in Alicante" (RB, August 2011)
